Creating Sacred Space

You can find it in a temple, your garden, or atop a mountain ridge, or you can stay where you are and find it within. The practice of creating sacred space allows us quiet our minds and bodies, to reconnect to that holy place within. For most healers/therapists, we create an office or consulting room that offers a physical space of beauty and rest. Creating a Sacred Space within that office is what I want to create in every hour with everyone who meets with me. Even in telephone session,I have experienced the deepest sense of sacred time and space with the "client" (aka: seeker, sojourner, traveler) "Creating the safe container" is a well known concept in psychodynamic theory, this is an internal experience that the therapist creates for and with the client, a necessary step towards effective "treatment". How do you create this space for yourself?

For me personally it is much more inside than outside. I know that several times a day I will encounter a pull away from my heart , get it done, attack what is thrown in front of me reaction.
So I do two things.
One is a meditate before opening my first email of the day.
The second is I continue to find ways to incorporate technology into my spirituality.
