Welcome to this website describing my private practice integrating psychotherapy, spiritual inquiry and expressive arts in Portland Oregon. You may also discover other events in Portland relating to Celtic Psychology and Anam Cara related workshops and resources. I use the term "Soulfriending" to describe what I offer: a melange of counseling and coaching, mindfulness and deep listening, dreams and expressive arts therapy. I am licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and intuitive healer. It is an invitation for your soul to be renewed.

I am delighted to notice that more healers and counselors are calling themselves Alchemcial Healers, or use the the term "Alchemy" to describe the work they do. The alchemy of spiritual and physical healing and transformation, or "Alchemical Therapy" implies that mind-body-soul is one word, one entity. We were all told the well known story of the alchemical process as children; spinning straw into gold. Remember Rumpelstiltskin?
May I suggest you take the time to phone me for a free consultation session? We will arrange for a quiet 30 minutes together in the next few days. Allow this time as a sacred space and you'll be surprised at how quickly you enfold into knowing what steps to take next. I look forward to speaking with you.

From the Ancient Celtic tradition we have been given the beautiful legacy of the "Anam Cara" or "Soul Friend". A predecessor of our modern disciplines of psychology, counseling and spiritual direction, A Soul Friend is someone who accompanies the the seeker or pilgrim on her or his journey towards creating a stronger relationship to Divine Presence. In ancient Celtic Christianity, a Soulfriend could be a woman or man, priest or village wise-woman. .
